Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and now it’s time to get back to work! We all enjoyed our time off and appreciate the understanding from all our loyal customers. Thank you to each and everyone for your support during the illness and death of our beloved Bob Waldmire. We are looking forward to continuing to sell Bob’s work, although many of the postcards needed to be re-printed, so as soon as we get the orders in we will begin to ship any orders that Bob didn’t get the chance to fill. We’re very sad to share that Bob passed away peacefully this morning. The family is busy trying to notify & make the necessary arrangements. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday December 20th from 12-2 pm at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester, Illinois. In lieu of flowers memorials made be sent to the “Robert Waldmire Trust” and sent to the Rochester State Bank 133 N. John St. Rochester, Illinois 62563.
Adam Richmond from Man vs. Food (a Travel Channel show) visited Cozy Dog in July of 2009. He talked with some local customers about the Cozy Dog. He also interviewed Josh Waldmire on the history of the Cozy Dog then sampled some of the Cozy Dog food. The show first aired on October 7th and is still being shown regularly on the Travel Channel.
